Chambrun, Haiti

Every day we ran a clinic under a marquee at a place called Ona-ville. This was a huge "city" which has grown up on a remote mountainside since the awful earthquake of January 2010. People escaped here when their homes were destroyed. Many still live in tents, some have little shacks, and those who can afford it have built houses. As you can see, I made friends with one of our interpreters!

Nehemiah's Vision Ministries, Chambrun, Haiti

We stayed at Nehemiah's Vision Ministries run by Pastor Pierre. They help the poor people of Haiti through education, medical clinics, building projects and a children's home. I felt quite at home there because the things they do are so much like we do back in Sacele, Romania

Chambrun, Haiti

We went to Haiti to work with Mercy Medical Teams. On my first full day I went to Sunday School, then in the afternoon we packaged up lots of pills and medicines for distrbution at the clinic we would be running the next week. Hard work but good fun. I got to meet some handsome guys who kindly gave me a piggy back ride!

Miami, United States

I spent a night at the Hilton Hotel, Miami airport - mmm, lovely and warm! This was just a stop-over for my real "holiday" where I would be working for my living in Haiti - see my next blog. While I was in Miami I met some strange creatures called manatees.

Grange-over-Sands, England

I can only thank Julia and Andy Shutt for entertaining me on a fab walk in Grange-over-Sands in the southern Lake District

It's always good to be at the seaside, although the sea does seem to be miles away even at high tide

Langdales, Lake District, England

What a beautiful setting to enjoy the early Spring sunshine.

I had a fantastic time in the Lake District with David and Rhiannon Edwards. It really is good when you get off the beaten track and take in the wonderful scenery on show

Transylvania, Romania

Well, here I am back in Romania. It feels like I'm back home

Everyone has made me so welcome, though there have been some shocked faces when I turn up to be photographed

George looks surprised here, but Avram takes me in his his stride

CenterParcs, Nottingham, England

Hello everyone, wow what a great holiday I've had with the Littler clan! We went to Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest, Nottingham, and we had a brilliant time! The weather was fantastic!

When I first got there I was a little shy, as you can see from the pic where I was hiding behind a leaf (view slideshow)! I soon got used to the new surroundings, and enjoyed going out for a meal with my family. Emily gives great squeezes!!!

I had fun in the play area too, and tried a few different rides. We did lots on our holidays, and with 3 little people to keep me company, I am now ready for another holiday - to just rest this time!! Thanks Jessica, Emily and Macy. Same time next year!!!

Ziurel Centre, Sacele, Romania

I had another great visit to work with FAST charity projects in and around Sacele

It was fantastic to see the difference in the Roma villages that the Better Homes project has made, and to be able to help dig foundations for a new home

I was also able to relax on great garden furniture made by craftsmen from Roma village of Tarlungeni

Mallorca, Spain

After a week of cancellations, the volcanic ash cloud dispersed enough for me to join David and Rhiannon on a short visit to the beautiful island of Mallorca

I enjoyed the sandcastles on the beach in Palma Nova, strolling the promenade at the fishing port of Andratx and the sensory overload that is the amazing mountain village of Deia
